BRCGS – Global Standard for Packaging Materials

BRCGS Packaging Materials Certification, or BRCGS Packaging Certification, formerly known as BRC IOP (BRC IOP Certification / BRCGS Packaging Certification), is an independent assessment process to verify that a packaging manufacturer has met all requirements of the BRCGS Packaging standard. This is carried out by competent third-party certification bodies that are recognized by BRCGS.

These organizations deploy teams of experienced specialists to evaluate the company’s entire management system, production processes, facilities, and food safety quality control measures. Upon successfully passing the rigorous assessment process, the company is awarded the BRCGS Packaging Certification, confirming its capability to produce packaging that ensures food safety and quality in accordance with international standards.
